Ruby Katherine Gordon holds a Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling and an Education Specialist degree, both obtained from Gardner-Webb University in August 2009. She is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) in North Carolina and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Georgia and South Carolina, demonstrating her commitment to professional excellence and ethical practices in mental health care. Katherine employs an Eclectic Approach to therapy, which integrates various treatment modalities tailored to meet the unique needs of her clients. Alisha creates a supportive, safe, and non-judgmental environment where clients can explore challenges openly. “I believe everyone is capable of change and can overcome any life obstacle,” says Alisha. Alisha earned both her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services and her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Gardner-Webb University. She is licensed as a Clinical Mental Health Counselor and registered as a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist Associate. Her professional experience spans both private practice and agency settings, with a focus on mental health and substance use. She has worked extensively with court-mandated clients, including parenting and DWI cases, and has served children, adolescents, and adults. Alisha has helped individuals navigate anxiety, depression, adjustment issues, self-esteem concerns, grief, substance use, and other mental health challenges.
